Switch to the employer versionJobs Tasmania, through the Employer of Choice Program, is partnering with Social Ventures Australia (SVA) to pilot the Employer Innovation Lab in Tasmania, - an evidence-based program to address workplace challenges by lifting barriers affecting young people and to support employers create pathways for young people into their business. The Lab begins with two facilitated workshops, during which participating businesses focused on unlocking opportunities for young people in Tasmania, developing ways to boost diversity and affect workplace culture, while accessing the latent talent pool of young people looking for work in Tasmania

A new program to help young people get their drivers licence was launched today in Burnie. The North West Driver Mentor Program will provide free access to a driver mentor to support young people to accrue the 80 hours require to sit their provisional drivers licence test.
