    2023 Employers of Choice announced

    The 2023 Tasmanian Employers of Choice have been announced with 15 businesses and organisations selected for their commitment to wellbeing, belonging and people practices that build successful workplaces.

    The Employer of Choice program received applications from 29 organisations from a range of industry sectors and business sizes across the state. All shortlisted applicants received a site visit by an assessment panel to talk to the leadership team and staff about their experiences working there.

    The following organisations have been recognised as 2023 Tasmanian Employers of Choice:

    New Driver Mentor Program

    A new program to help young people get their drivers licence was launched today in Burnie. The North West Driver Mentor Program will provide free access to a driver mentor to support young people to accrue the 80 hours require to sit their provisional drivers licence test.

    Youth Career Facilitator Pilot

    Young Tasmanians in the north west of the state are being supported to connect to the world of work through a 12 month pilot Youth Career Facilitator project.
