Rapid Response Skills Initiative

Training

If you have been made redundant in the last 12 months you can access up to $3000 for training to help you retrain for another job or career.

The funding can be used for:

  • occupational tickets / licenses,
  • formal education and training,
  • non-accredited training.

Eligibility

You must have lost casual, full-time or part-time work in the last 12 months due to retrenchment, business downsizing or closure, and

  • be an Australian citizen or permanent resident with a Tasmanian residential address
  • provide written evidence of job loss, redundancy or retrenchment

Before you apply for funding you must consult a Career Connector service provider to confirm your eligibility and discuss the best options for your training.
