Switch to the employer versionJobs Tasmania supported the West North West Working Jobs Hub to put on an event to showcase the employment opportunities for Tasmanians aged 45 years+. Held in Burnie, the event attracted a variety of local businesses offering supports or looking for staff.
Danielle Kidd, West North West Working Program Manager said “Our collaborative efforts delivered an expo that responded to many of the issues raised in our community and by business and industry about employment.
“Inviting our local community to build meaningful connections with a variety of local businesses and organisations is important, we hope to foster a supportive and informative environment where those over 45 can ask questions and learn about future options.”
The event was held in collaboration with the Council on the Ageing Tasmania.
